Rosewood Lakes project approved

A US$6 million project to rebuild nine holes at the Rosewood Lakes golf course in Reno, Nevada, has been approved by regional authorities.

The golf course is to be split in two by the proposed six-lane Reno Southeast Connector bypass road, a US$170 million project backed by the Regional Transport Commission. The new nine holes will be constructed on city-owned land.

Funding for the golf course project is to come from a US$32 million fuel tax fund allocated to pay for properties affected by the work. No architect has yet been announced for the project.
