Troon signs up Mazagan course

Management firm Troon Golf is to operate the course at Kerzner International’s Mazagan Beach resort in Morocco.

The million resort, and its golf course, designed by Gary Player’s practice, are currently under construction and will be completed in the autumn.  The US$350 million first phase consists of the golf course as well as a 500 room hotel, 11 restaurants, spa, casino, nightclub and conference centre.

The course is designed across undulating sand dunes with holes stretching alongside the Atlantic coastline.
