Turf conference for Slovakia

 

This year’s Slovakian Turf Education conference will take place from February 21-22 at the Hotel Empire in Trnava, about 50km from the capital Bratislava.

Last year’s event, run by golf services firm Engo, attracted around 100 delegates from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Russia and Ukraine. The conference focuses on all aspects of sports turf care, and will include presentations by Dr Ruth Mann and Andy Cole of the UK’s Sports Turf Research Institute. Master Greenkeeper Laurence Pithie of consultancy TurfMaster One will give a full day workshop on golf course management.

The event is sponsored by Toro, Everris Baroness, MLR, Desso, Environmental Turf Technology German golf maintenance firm Engelmann Golfplatzpflege.
