Wardle partners with EIGCA

British irrigation engineer Giles Wardle has become a consultant partner of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects.

Wardle, a partner in water management firm Irriplan, has worked in golf and turf irrigation since 1992 and has designed irrigation systems for some of the most renowned golf courses and architects in the world.

The new consultant partner category has been created by EIGCA for golf course consultants with the aim of increasing interaction between the EIGCA and other professions in the industry.

EIGCA executive officer Julia Green said: “This new partnership category allows consultants to promote their services directly to golf course architects, as well as our other partners, and helps to bring the various elements of our industry closer together.”
