Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) is one of the world’s largest producers of corrugated high-density polyethylene pipe and related drainage products. Founded in 1966, ADS grew rapidly by providing a durable, economic solution to agricultural drainage problems, making clay tile obsolete. Over the next two decades it added new markets including residential drainage, mining, forestry, and turf/recreation.

With the introduction of N-12 smooth interior corrugated pipe in 1987, ADS became a major supplier to the engineered construction market. The product’s strength, lightweight and hydraulic efficiency provided a cost-effective alternative to traditional pipe materials. Today, specifying agencies are replacing concrete and metal piping with polyethylene in municipal storm and sanitary sewers, waste disposal facilities, and highway drainage projects.

ADS N-12 pipe incorporates solid rubber gaskets providing soil-tight or watertight joints meeting the highest ASTM specification, in diameters from four to sixty inches. A staff of 35 professional engineers, complementing a field of 350 sales professionals, provides local technical and installation assistance to government agencies, consultants, and contractors.
