DAR Golf Construction is a family run company that specialises in the construction and revamping of golf courses and sports pitches throughout Ireland, the UK and across the globe since 1973.

In 2011, our projects ranged from revamping a single bunker in Galway to shaping a new golf course in Beijing, with each project receiving the attention to detail we are renowned for. We cater for every aspect involved in golf course construction and have the knowledge, skill and staff to complete all phases of construction to a world class standard. We have invested in low ground pressure machinery and equipment, which enables us to work with minimal disruption to existing courses.

Many clubs benefit from our revolutionary bunker base, SportBond. In SportBond, bunkers of sand are placed directly onto our uniquely bonded base, which is completely porous. Our product is mixed giving it a consistent strength throughout. Water filters through the sand and into the SportBond layer where it is provided with an easier path to the drainage, eliminating sand wash, soil erosion and flooding. This helps keep bunkers player-friendly all year round and reduces maintenance required, which is a great benefit to golf clubs.
