As golf course architects, clubhouse architects and masterplanners, David Williams Golf Design (DWGD) has been responsible for over 25 new courses built within the UK and Europe over the last 15 years, the majority of which have been built in the southeast of England. Taking projects from inception through construction to completion, the consistent high quality of the courses has led to many inclusions within ‘best new course of the year’ designations.

Formerly, as consultant to the PGA European Tour, David Williams was responsible for the design of many new tournament courses throughout Europe, including, with Neil Coles and Angel Gallardo, the highly acclaimed PGA Golf Catalunya in northern Spain, voted in the top ten courses in Europe in recent publications.
By providing detailed drawings and specifications, DWGD designs quality courses at affordable costs, and the philosophy that the information provided should equal that in architectural and engineering fields, ensures courses are built to budget and on time, resulting in many repeat orders from major clients.

DWGD is also particularly active in re-modelling and appraisal of existing golf courses throughout the UK and mainland Europe.
