European Golf Design is the joint venture design company of The European Tour and IMG. Established in 1992, European Golf Design has won design commissions throughout Europe and beyond to Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean and Asia.

Each of the design teams currently employed by European Golf Design has been hand-picked for their skill and ability to create great golf courses, and whose collective experience involves over 150 projects spread throughout the world.

We have completed over 50 projects since inception and while we are proud of each of them, some have received notable international recognition. Three of our courses have been named Best New Course in Europe, four are ranked in the Top 100 Courses in Europe, two are ranked in the Top 100 in the World and we are involved in four of the courses included within Golf World’s recent listing of the ‘twenty most exciting new courses in the World’. We designed the Twenty Ten Course at Celtic Manor Resort, the host venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup.
