Gaunt Golf Design is an international golf course architect firm based in Bakewell, UK. Since 1987 it has been designing award-winning golf courses, ranging in size from smaller ‘pay-and-play’ courses to major tourism-related resort developments in new and emerging markets in the UK and abroad. The company is currently involved in over 30 projects in the UK, Europe, Africa, USA (in collaboration with Donald Steel) and Latin America in collaboration with Eduardo Romero (‘El Gato’).

Gaunt also undertakes sensitive restoration and renovation works on courses seeking to update and stay competitive. It designs and builds golf courses, which are both tactically exciting and environmentally sympathetic.
