Gill Design (GDI) is a golf course design and consulting firm established in 1983, working extensively in North America and select European, Asian and South American locations.

GDI has completed over 250 golf course projects. Strengths, in addition to private sector golf course development, include: municipal, governmental, and tribal community project experience, general golf course consulting and trouble shooting, land planning, residential golf community design, and resort course design. We also have considerable experience in golf course renovation and remodelling work.

Practicing 'green' and 'sustainable' design practices we have developed expertise including: design of stormwater management and water capture systems, as well as golf course irrigation design and water management systems.

Gill Design employs the latest technology and has extensive in house CAD, 3D modelling, not to mention GIS mapping experience capabilities.

We are a strong partner that communicates well in the large scale, multi-discipline project, but also have experience working professionally with the owner’s project manager and golf course builder. GDI staff are available to work on site.
