John Fought Design specialises in golf course architecture. It has been in business for 20 years and has completed 50 projects in North America. Approximately 25 of the completed projects have been new designs including The Gallery in Tucson, Arizona - 36 holes; Washington National in Seattle, Washington; and Windsong Farm in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

John Fought Design has also completed 25 renovation/restoration projects including The Player's Course at Indian Wells in California; Pine Needles - Donald Ross Original in Pinehurst, North Carolina; and The Country Club of Jackson in Mississippi. Its philosophy is to develop golf that is classic in motif and playability.

Courses designed by John Fought have hosted 45 major national championships including three US Women's Opens, the US Men's Amateur and the Accenture World Match Play. Its goal is to build a limited number of projects each year that will suit its client's needs, ensure recognition and will generate profitability for the owners.
