John Greasley is one of Europe’s leading golf course constructors. The company, established in 1984, has unrivalled experience in completing new build and alteration works. We have a broad and comprehensive understanding of all course styles and designs. Our previous experience of undertaking a range of projects throughout the UK and Europe allows us to fulfil the demands of architects and clients. Our own experienced, directly employed teams of shapers, operators and finishers are engaged in every operation from earthworks through to the final preparatory, seeding/turfing and maintenance works. This ensures that every part of construction is under the direct control of the company.

The company owns and operates an extensive fleet of modern specialist low ground pressure machinery and equipment. 2011 projects include the major reinstatement of three courses around Manchester following the installation of United Utilities 1.2m diameter watermain, with 85,000m2 of new turf being laid. Contract value was in excess of £1.7M.
