Lastec's 'high-definition' articulating mowers have proved successful with top golf courses around the world, as well as in other sectors of the turf industry.

The patented design of Lastec mowers uses belt-driven decks – the most efficient technology of any wide area mower. In addition to offering greater fuel economy than other drive methods – consuming up to 50 per cent less fuel than hydraulically-powered decks of the same width – they are also easy to maintain and service, which means less downtime and more cutting time.

Lastec introduced the concept of articulating rotary mowers to the turf industry in 1990. Delivering the productivity of a wide area mower with the precision and quality cutting of a small push mower, the articulating decks follow the contour of the terrain so that mounds are not scalped and valleys not missed.

With individual rotary decks available in two cutting diameters and in multiples of three, five and seven decks, mowers can be specified to suit the needs of different customers and applications.

The range includes tractor-mounted PTO-driven mowers - 'front mounted' with 72-132in cut (1828-3352mm) and 'rear mounted' with 96-132in cut (2438-3352mm) - as well as self-powered 'zero turn' ride-on mowers with cutting widths from 61-100in (1549-2540mm).
