Mike Wood is a golf course architect, landscape architect, and environmental consultant with over 25 years of professional experience. He has been chairman of EIGCA’s Environment Committee since 2005 and was responsible for their environmental policy statement. He also works closely with the Golf Environment Organisation and is lead consultant for its Sustainable Golf Development project.

In 2008, Mike led Loch Lomond Golf Club’s successful application for planning consent for its second course in a sensitive environment. Designations, which applied to the site, included National Park, National Scenic Area, and Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Mike offers a unique, personal service in support of developers, architects, or design teams, working collaboratively to address issues of environmental assessment and sustainable design.
