Schmidt-Curley Design features the pairing of ASGCA members Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, two individuals with a common passion for the game of golf, its history and the satisfying reward of implementing its design and construction.

Together, Schmidt and Curley bring experience and involvement in the planning, design and construction of over 100 courses in 24 countries. At the core of these past accomplishments lie world-renowned courses done with the likes of Pete Dye, Nick Faldo, Fred Couples, Ernie Els and Jack Nicklaus.

The company brings a wealth of experience and provides hands-on attention for each and every job. Its philosophy is to push the envelope of design, keep a fresh approach, and avoid repeating styles, while always balancing the desires of the owner.

Much of the company’s work is done with returning clients such as Marriott Golf; Walters Golf; Starwood; Pulte/Del Webb; Landmark Golf; and the Mission Hills Group, who trusted Schmidt-Curley Design’s ability to produce 10 of its 12 courses at its facility in Shenzhen, China.
