Martin Sternberg’s father became a scratch golfer at the age of 17 and was Pennsylvania State Junior Champion in 1957. His sister lives in New York and hosts the Golf Channel‘s ‘Big Break’ programme and Martin himself turned professional at the age of 19. The company ethos is to live and breathe golf.

A graduate of the San Diego Golf Academy and former European mini-tour circuit professional, Martin Sternberg became the CGSAA’s first fully certified European Golf Course Superintendent in 1992, and built his first course with his father at the age of 21. Since that time Sternberg Golf Services has been involved in more than 25 golf course construction projects worldwide. Sternberg built and owns an Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest designed course in his hometown, and the company has extensive experience of managing a number of other world-class golf courses.
