Trisoplast Mineral Liners International BV, a division of a Dutch construction company with approximately 175 employees, developed an innovative sealing material that may be called the modern standard for environmental protection and water proofing: Trisoplast.
Trisoplast is a patented mineral barrier consisting of a special bentonite-polymer component which is mixed on site with a mineral filler (such as sand). Its high durability, natural appearance and easy installation make Trisoplast very suitable for use in ponds. It is therefore an interesting alternative to traditional sealing systems which are more sensitive to installation inaccuracies, damage caused by sharp particles in the ground and weather conditions..
Over the years, Trisoplast Mineral Liners has built a strong reputation executing innovative landscaping projects, for example the construction of a fauna overpass by order of the Dutch National Trust, a 180 hectare pond near London as part of the 2012 Olympics development programme, and the installation of a vast number of luxury ponds at golf courses and private estates.
Trisoplast has already been applied successfully in countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Croatia, Romania, Ireland, the UK, Finland, Sweden, Malaysia, Singapore and Argentina.
