Turf Diagnostics & Design (TD&D) is a physical evaluation laboratory and agronomic consulting company. Its laboratory is accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation, and it is on the USGA list of recommended labs. Since its inception in 1991, it has performed testing and/or consulting for over 1,000 golf courses located throughout the world.

TD&D specialises in the physical evaluation of soils, sands, and amendments. It provides services that are used in three distinct areas:
• Evaluation of existing golf courses and problem diagnostics. Laboratory testing packages range from topdress sand evaluations to bunker sand quality determinations to complete diagnostics of the golf green rootzone. TD&D’s reports provide guidance for material selection, maintenance practices, and aid in determination of renovation needs
• Evaluation of materials that are to be used for new construction or renovation. TD&D’s assessments help determine if proposed materials meet project specifications, USGA recommendations, or other project goals. Quality control testing programmes verify quality and ensure consistent materials are used for construction of tees, fairways, bunkers, and greens
