Tripp Davis and Associates (TDA) has had a full order book in 2011 with projects for golf clubs in China and Mexico as well as for several country clubs in the US.

Work has begun on reconstruction and rerouting of the existing golf course at Pearl Beach International Golf Club in Eco City, China, near the major city of Tianjin. Keppel Land International chose TDA for the Pearl Beach contract against strong competition from notable golf architecture firms.

In Mexico, TDA has reached the second phase of landscaping at Turtle Dunes, Acapulco. This phase involves the landscaping of six new holes for the course, which plans an eighteen hole soft opening for members in December.

The company’s US work this year includes an evaluation and master plan for the Perry Maxwell designed Hillcrest Country Club in Florida, as well as design of the eighteenth green complex for Engineers Country Club in New York state. TDA has also been appointed as consulting golf course architect to Rumson Country Club in New Jersey, a role that will commence with an evaluation and master plan for the course.
