New research on modern day trends in golf play will be presented to attendees at the European Golf Course Owners’ Association conference in Amsterdam in December.

Jan Ekblom, director of club development at the Swedish Golf Federation, will show the conference the results of new Swedish research that, EGCOA says, provides an essential insight into the golf customer of the future.

A second example to be presented is the so-called ‘Dutch model,’ summing up the result of a joint research project of the Dutch Golf Course Owners Association and the Dutch Golf Federation.

Both presentations, says EGCOA, will provide essential information for golf course owners who are confronted with declining numbers of rounds played as well as an economic downturn.

The conference takes place at the Renaissance Hotel, Amsterdam, from 2-4 December.
