PowerPlay Golf is to build its first course in the Scottish town of East Kilbride, as part of Playgolf Holdings's new public sports complex in the town. It is expected that each of the new course's nine holes will be an actual-size replica of some of the UK's finest and most famous links holes.

Lauched at Playgolf Northwick Park earlier this year, PowerPlay Golf is a simple, shortened version of the game involving two flags on each green, one black, one white. The black flag occupies a more difficult pin position, with double stableford points awarded to golfers who successfully score net birdie or better.
