Golf training programme Firstgolf, created by British golf architect Howard Swan, is getting ready to open its first training centre in India.

The centre, in the Karnataka state capital of Bangalore, will include a three hole golf course, chipping and bunker practice area and putting green, plus new training modules to allow students to take part in the construction and irrigation, as well as establishment and maintenance of the facility.

The photograph shows the newly completed second green at the centre. Another Firstgolf centre is currently being established in the old Mysore Mine Complex of the Kolar Golf Fields. At present students are being registered for a range of different vocational training courses.
