IMG has been appointed to manage the new 27-hole Taiyuan Luxuriance International club, currently under construction in the Shanxi province of northern China.

Luxuriance is being designed by Chinese golf architecture practice New Nature, and will open for play in 2013. The development will also include real estate and a five star hotel.

IMG now provides management services to 12 golf clubs in China. “We look forward to working closely with the owner of Luxuriance and other members of the project team to create a spectacular golf facility, and we are confident our extensive experience in China will produce a successful club we can all be proud of,” said Paul Burley, vice president of IMG Golf Course Services.
