Original architect Jim Lipe, along with signature designer David Toms, has finished a renovation of the University Club golf course in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The course, which is managed by real estate firm Stirling Properties, and is connected to Louisiana State University, has been extended to7,600 with the addition of new back tees.

Lipe, who has worked with Jack Nicklaus for much of his career, additionally oversaw the expansion of some of the lakes on the course, and the planting of over 500 more trees during the nine month project. The NCAA has named the University Club and the LSU Men's Golf Team as hosts for the 2013  Division 1 Regionals.
