The European Golf Course Owners Association is hosting the second Multi-Course Owners Meeting on 30 November in London. The event precedes EGCOA’s annual conference, which takes place from 1-2 December at the Royal Horticultural Halls.

EGCOA says the goal of the Multi-Course Owners Meeting is for attendees to share information on current developments in the market, as well as offering a unique networking opportunity for owners and operators of three or more golf courses. 2009 attendees included companies such as Crown Golf and Burhill Golf and Leisure from the UK, Open Golf Club (France), Burggolf (Netherlands) and Clubhaus (Germany).

Europe has around 35 companies that operate three or more golf courses, the largest of which operates 50 courses in 30 locations. An estimated 270 courses in total are operated by these multi-course organisations, with over half of these companies having already confirmed their participation at this year’s event.

EGCOA has also announced that Early Bird registrations for its conference close this Friday, 1 October.  . Attendees who register by this date will qualify for the reduced rate of €445 (members) and  €725 (non-members).

For further information and to register, please email Tibbe Bakker at EGCOA.
