By AML

The original Mission Hills resort in Dongguang, China, is to play host to a new golf conference in November.

The Golf Management Asia event, run by conference firm Informa Sports, will take place from 6-8 November at the resort. Three sessions on the second day will be devoted to course design and construction, with speakers including BIGGA chairman Jim Croxton, St Andrews Links director of greenkeeping Gordon Moir, and Ken Siems, director of agronomy at Jinhai Lake in China.

The conference's first day will include a practical workshop on one of the Mission Hills courses to apply concretely the lessons learnt during the morning classes. For more information on the conference visit the organisers' site.
