New golf course in Kenyan capital

A new residential estate, including an eighteen hole golf course, is now under construction close to the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

The Migaa development takes in 774 acres of land on what were previously five coffee farms, and, mindful of the many coffee estates that have been lost around Nairobi, plans to include a coffee museum among its facilities. The site is 20km from downtown Nairobi.

Those facilities will also include an eighteen hole golf course, designed by British architect David Jones. Migaa is being developed by Home Afrika Communities, and is planned to include homes for over 4,000 people.
