Local firm JSH Time has bought the 36-hole Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club in Phoenix, Arizona. Management company OB Sports Golf Management will continue to operate the course.

The new owners will continue to run the recently adopted membership plan that allows for daily fee club guest starting times on one golf course while the second course will remain exclusive for current and new members.

In the current economic climate, the creation of more accessible forms of membership has quickly become an industry-wide trend as clubs look for additional member prospects and new round generation via daily fee play.

"The new ownership of Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club brings stability and long term direction for this facility," said Doc Belitz, vice president of operations for OB Sports Golf Management. "The new ownership is dedicated to continuing to provide a world-class golf experience at Superstition Mountain."

Superstition Mountain Golf Club features two Nicklaus Design golf courses, The Prospector and Lost Gold. This year, Desert Golf ranked the Lost Gold Course as one of the top ten private courses in Arizona.
