Australian architect Graham Marsh is to design a new course in the state of Queensland.

Marsh has been hired to upgrade the existing 14 hole golf course at Boyne Tannum, about 400km north of Brisbane, to an eighteen hole facility. The development is part of a real estate development, Boyne Tannum Country Club Estate, in the Queenland town.

Marsh, who recently paid his first visit to the site, told the local paper: “The developers have given us the flexibility of being able to work with the golf course as an entity rather crowding it with real estate and compromising it, and that will give us a lot of design latitude.”

Homes on the course will be released for sale beginning in 2012, and the developers hope to have the course construction completed within three years.
