Nine new holes have been opened at The Berliner Golf and Country Club Motzener See e. V. in Motzen, Germany.

Designed by course architect Kurt Rossknecht, the new nine holes, taking the total number at the club to 27, were unveiled at an event celebrating the club’s 20th anniversary.

The club hosted four editions of the German Masters, including the Mercedes German Masters in 1994 and 1995, and has been played by the likes of Severiano Balesteros, Colin Montgomery, Ernie Els, Nick Faldo and Bernhard Langer.

The highlight of the new nine holes is a 600m-long par-5, which lies in the middle of a pine forest.
