Gary Player’s firm is to design a new nine hole course at the DLF Golf and Country Club in the city of Gurgaon, not far from the Indian capital, New Delhi.

DLF’s existing course was designed by Arnold Palmer’s firm. The new course, part of phase five of the DLF City development, is expected to open in around two years time and could be expanded to eighteen holes at a later date.

The new course will be irrigated entirely with treated sewage. Around 10,000 trees will be planted as part of the development.
