The latest edition of the American Society of Golf Course Architects’ By Design magazine is now available.

The Spring 2016 edition has a focus on municipal golf, with the magazine’s cover story featuring comment from American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) members on how best to cater for local communities, and their experiences of working at municipal facilities.

Other highlights include a feature on a new publication from the ASGCA Foundation that aims to help develop positive water stewardship practices among developers.

The new edition also features a discussion on why clubs should consider hiring architects for relatively small projects, and an interview with Jan Bel Jan, the newest member of the ASGCA Executive Committee, in which she discusses her ‘scoring tees’ concept.
