Donald Trump’s planned course at the Menie Estate near Aberdeen in Scotland has moved a step closer with the release of a revised site masterplan.
The Trump organisation says the new plan represents “a significant step towards achieving our goals of protecting the environment and creating a world class golf and leisure resort in Aberdeenshire.”
Over the coming months, the development team expects to release additional details, including building footprints and facades, circulation and indicative designs for the hotel, clubhouse, holiday home and residential components of the project. Outline planning consent was granted last year by the Scottish Executive, but the consent was subjected to a large range on conditions. “The detailed application process is moving forward on schedule and we look forward to breaking ground early in 2010,” the Trump organisation is quoted as saying.
