UK tree management firm launched

British landscape architecture practice the Landscape Agency is launching a new sister company, called the Tree & Woodland Company.

The new firm aims to provide solutions to all tree and woodland management issues facing the golf industry, working closely with golf architects and course managers and offering services like tree and woodland management plans, new planting proposals, hazard tree surveys, project management and work implementation.

The company, based in Stoneleigh Park, near Warwick, will take on all existing arboricultural work from the Landscape Agency. Current clients include Woburn Golf Club and Sonning Golf Club. 

Andrew Bowman-Shaw, formerly arboricultural director at the Landscape Agency is heading the new company. He said: “I see great opportunity for us to become major players in the golf industry and look forward to working with course designers, architects and managers in tackling arboricultural issues.”
