Jordan Golf Design has been hired to plan renovations to the Saratoga Spa State Park golf course in Saratoga Springs, New York.

The course’s original holes were opened in 1936, and architect William Mitchell was brought in the late 1950s golf course to design the course as it appears today.

Work is set to begin this autumn, with plans including the redesign and rebuild of the 10th green complex, extensive bunkering work and rebuilding and drainage work.

Saratoga Spa State Park golf course has been operated by Professional Golf Services since 2002 following a license agreement with New York State Parks.

Jordan Golf Design is the firm behind the design of the Lazy Swan Golf and Country Club in Saugerties and Champion Hills Country Club in Victor, both of which are also in New York State.
