Plans to extend the Leeds Golf Centre in Yorkshire, UK, are gathering pace.

The centre’s owners Parklane Group have began formal discussions with Leeds City Council around the former’s intention to extend the current facility and create a multi-million pound golf complex and expanded driving range.

Plans include the creation of a new nine-hole academy course. This would be designed by Gaunt Golf Design, who have also been hired to design the extended driving range. The range will have two storeys and feature 30 state of the art bays.

Other proposed facilities at Leeds Golf Centre include the development of 38 eco-lodges for golfers and leisure guests, a gym development, spa facility, and adventure golf course.

If plans are given the green light, work is likely to commence in autumn 2018, with an estimated completion date in 2020.
