Construction of a new par three golf course in Czech Republic is about to get underway.

Designed by Jonathan Davison of Create Golf, the new course is to be built at Golf Park Lhotka near the city of Ostrava in the north-east of the country.

The club is already home to a driving range, short game area, putting course and family orientated clubhouse.

“It’s a great little resort and the short course will help people understand and learn the game,” Davison said. “The resort is exactly the type of facility which is needed in the Czech Republic and the neighbouring countries to help introduce people to the game and I am extremely proud to be involved.”/p>

The course is Davison’s third project in the country, having previously worked at Tosovice Golf Resort, and Prague City Golf Club alongside Jeremy Ford.

Work is set to commence this August, with the course’s opening scheduled for summer 2018.
