Property mapping solution helps course operator boost environmental programme.
US golf operator KemperSports has added software provider CourseVision to its list of preferred vendors.
Under the agreement, CourseVision's property mapping solution will be made available to all KemperSports-owned and managed properties.
Kemper executive VP Jim Seeley said: “CourseVision provides our courses the option of accurate and cost effective mapping that can be of tremendous value as they progress through the various levels of our Green to a Tee environmental programme.”
Todd Gilles, course superintendent at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club in Vallejo, California, is one of the first Kemper users of CourseVision. He said: “CourseVision instantly provided me with a complete inventory of my property including all the necessary data for my environmental certification effort. It saved Hiddenbrooke thousands of dollars versus the GPS mapping we were contemplating and required none of my staff's time.”
