Ten week project completed by Champion Turf Farms at course in North Carolina.

The greens at the Heritage Club Golf Course in Wake Forest, North Carolina, will reopen for play 29 August following renovation work.
Efforts to improve the surfaces at the club began this June at the 18-hole course, which was designed by Bob Moore of the JMP Golf Design Group and opened in 2001.
Champion Turf Farms oversaw the renovations, and left the green structures in place in order to preserve the contouring. The company used the same green renovation technique at the nearby Pinehurst No. 2 course as part of a similar project.
“These greens are in ideal condition for putting and will add to the Heritage golf experience,” said Andy Ammons, president of Ammons Development Group, Heritage developer. “The entire process took place in ten weeks, which is what we expected. We’re lucky that the weather worked in our favour.”
