Infinitum Resort near Tarragona, Spain, is to renovate bunkers on its Greg Norman-designed Lakes course.

The €800,000 ($860,000) project will “cement its credentials as one of Europe’s best modern layouts”, according to Infinitum.

“With DP World Tour Qualifying School Final Stage returning in November, this feels like the perfect time to take our Lakes course to the next level,” said Joaquín Mora Bertrán, director of golf at Infinitum. “Every year we strive to improve our offering across the board.”

The resort – which also has an 18-hole Hills course and nine-hole Ruins course – expects a second phase of real estate development to be completed in 2025, including eight luxury residential properties with views of the Mediterranean Sea.
