A new nine-hole golf course forms part of plans a new residential development in the Canadian province of Alberta.

Named Lincoln Ranch, the plans include a 100-lot residential community, three parks, walking trails, and the new golf course.

The proposed site for the development sits on the east shore of Gull Lake, on land currently used for agricultural purposes.

Gull Lake is a popular tourism spot in Alberta, located approximately halfway between the major cities of Edmonton and Calgary.

Developer Riser Development has submitted plans to Lacombe County Council, who have in turn set a public hearing date for 8 February 2018.
