Architect Thad Layton is leading a major renovation at Naples Lakes Country Club in Naples, Florida.

The Arnold Palmer Design man will be overseeing work at the club, which includes the regrassing of the entire course with Celebration bermudagrass and TifEagle.

New green complexes are being built, while selected bunkers are also being moved to new locations to enhance strategy on the course.

New tees are being built, fairways are to be regraded and new drainage will added.

Other elements of the project include the expansion of an on-site lake and the development of a new practice area.

The Naples Lakes course was originally designed by Arnold Palmer Design and opened in 1999.
