A bunker renovation project has reached completion at the Firecliff golf course, one of two courses at the Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Springs, California.

The work got underway this summer and has been overseen by Michael Hurdzan, one of the course’s original designer.

Both of Desert Willow’s 18-hole courses – the Firecliff and Mountain View courses – were originally designed by the Hurzdan & Fry firm.

The recent work is part of a longer term project aimed at enhancing the Firecliff Course, with future phases to focus on the tee boxes, greens and turf reduction.
