A new golf course designed by Hills Forrest golf architecture firm has opened in Morocco.

Noria Golf Club near Marrakech is an 18 hole course, split into three distinct loops of six holes with specific landscaping, named Garden, Orchard and Dune. The course features four hectares of lake, 85 bunkers and plays 6,750 metres. The site is also home to a brand new practice facility.

The new course’s central feature is a traditional ‘basin’ which splits the 18th greens and stretches from the clubhouse to the far side of the site.

Braemar Golf will manage the course, which is part of the currently under development L’Oasis de Noria family resort. The resort lies beneath the Atlas Mountains and is set to open later this year.
