Polish conference draws attention

Golf development in central and eastern Europe to be centrepiece of new event.

The development of golf in central and eastern Europe will be the focus of attention at a conference in Poland next month.

The conference, taking place from 14-16 September at the Sofitel Victoria hotel in Warsaw, and incorporating a golf tournament at the First Warsaw club, will feature speakers including golf architects Dr Michael Hurdzan, Kevin Ramsey and Howard Swan.

Backers of the conference include Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, the Mayor of Warsaw, the Polish Golf Union, the Central European Countries Travel Association and the Club Managers’ Association of Europe. For details visit the conference Web site.
