Having completed a rebunkering project last year, Swan Golf Designs has started work on the second phase of renovation at Bundoran Golf Club in County Donegal, Ireland. This phase will see the redesign of five holes, including three new greens and two new tees.

Swan's James Edwards says: "Now we are concentrating on two of the finest green locations on the entire property, located high up on the cliff 's edge. Not only will these alterations improve the technical performance of the greens, but they will improve the playing experience of this classic golf course as well." Bundoran, which lies alongside the Great Northern Hotel and overlooks Donegal Bay, was originally designed by GL Baillie in 1894, and redesigned by six-times Open champion Harry Vardon in 1927.
