Consultancy KPMG has announced that the 2011 staging of its Golf Business Forum event will be held in Dubai.

The Park Hyatt hotel will play host to the event, which will take place earlier than normal, from 11-19 April.

Some of golf’s biggest names, including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Greg Norman and Annika Sorenstam have attended Golf Business Forum in previous years.

KPMG partner Andrea Sartori said: “We are excited that the Golf Business Forum 2011 is being hosted in Dubai, one of the most dynamic golf destinations in the world and the heart of the Middle East, a region that continues to offer growth potential for the golf industry.

Chris May, general manager of Dubai Golf, the event’s main sponsor, said: “We are proud to host the global golf industry’s foremost business forum in Dubai, a world-class golfing and business destination of distinction.”
