A major renovation project on the golf courses at The Resort at the Longboat Key Club on Florida’s west coast is nearing completion.

Led by golf course architect Ron Garl, the project has seen work take place on all 45 holes at the club, with the focus now on completing renovations to the final nine holes.

The Resort at the Longboat Key Club is home to the 27-hole Harbourside Golf Course and the 18-hole Links on Longboat course.

The current work is focused on the White Egret nine on the Harbourside course, with work having already been completed on the Links on Longboat course and the other two nine hole tracks that form the Harbourside course.

Collectively, the project has taken around three years to complete and has cost in the region of US$20 million.

The work on the White Egret nine is set to be completed by the end of 2016.
