Management company Troon has opened the new Buenaventura Golf Club in Panama.

Part of a Pacific coast beach community near Panama City, Buenaventura is a Nicklaus Design project. The community includes both beachfront and lakefront housing, plus the Bristol Buenaventura resort hotel.

“Buenaventura Golf Club is a beautiful facility located in an extremely unique and desirable destination,” said John Easterbrook, Troon's executive vice president of operations. “We are very pleased to be involved in the project and look forward to delivering an exceptional golf experience to members and visitors at the club.”

The Bristol Buenaventura resort includes 122 guestrooms, some with lagoon and ocean views.
