Terravita Golf & Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, will begin renovation work on its Billy Casper and Greg Nash-designed course this April.

The project, led by architect Phil Smith, will include rebuilding and resurfacing all greens, adjusting tees, reshaping fairways and installing a new irrigation system. All bunkers will be rebuilt and reshaped, with a Capillary Concrete drainage system also installed.

“It has been my honour to work with the Terravita team the past two years as we navigated the master planning process,” said Smith. “This summer, every component of the golf course will be reimagined and rebuilt to compete with the renowned courses in the greater Scottsdale market. I will use my 33-plus years of experience as a golf course architect to create a visually stunning, challenging, and fun-to-play course for Terravita members.”

Heritage Links will handle construction, which is expected to be complete by November.
